CREATIVITY & INNOVATION: ‘BIRTH OF AN IDEA’

SYNCHRONISTIC CRAFT

&

Villani's ‘7 Key Ingredients’

+ RSA video short.

Keys of IMHW ~ to DISCUSS

1. DOCUMENTATION:

Garnering of knowledge re: brand development include Business Planning & Strategy, Music Theory, Society and Economics.

Visuals produced, including animation and/or multiple themes of product range.

2. MOTIVATION:

Education and inspiration, from a young age, came via both a love of books and comics; imagining a story continuing (in motion) with the last still frame of a comic strip; using music to imagine and produce art was introduced during early high school years, with Mr. Iwo Zaluski (Head of Music); Periods of proverbially going into ‘darkness’ enabled the development of story lines and the ability to take another viewpoint, following life’s adverse events/circumstances; Imagination and producing art, moved my own feelings and the greatest motivation.

3. ENVIRONMENT:

Environmentally, living on the South Acton estate (after first leaving home) was a contrast from the tree lined streets where I grew up. In spite of the concrete towering over what was once predominantly light engineering and service industries, or meadows, fields and waterways (before Industrialization), there was no shortage of children and youth in a search for ‘things to do’ (especially during the long summer breaks from school). The birth of my first community mural was here. The last community mural was where I live now. Life in West London, enabled a colourful quest, 33 years later the environment is predominantly digital.

4. COMMUNICATIONS:

Today’s Internet channels have made it easy to connect across long distances, musicians that allowed me use of their music (for this project’s research/educational purposes) stemmed from Liverpool, Nottingham, Cornwall, Wales in the UK, plus Europe, the Middle East and the US. Audio-visual collaborations were dependent on the Internet and extensive time + cost without it.

5. CONSTRAINTS:

‘Oxymoron’ impels beyond obstacles, without this there’d be no creative ideas, creation!

I agree wholeheartedly.

6. ILLUMINATION & METICULOUS SYSTEMATIC WORK:

‘alternating inspiration and meticulous work’

7. LUCK and TENACITY:

Villani suggests that we may help the luck possibility, by being insistent and treasuring new ideas, because they are ‘made for sharing’. Absolutely!
