GUEST BOOK

The year 2012 has been described as the end of a cycle according to Mayan philosophy. But endings can also mean that something else begins, for all intents and purposes this website was an historical development in 2012.

MaKing Murals IsHarmony - History of Art in the Making

In 1997 MaKing Murals came into being as a service provider of art (for and by) communities, an historical account is given on the tab (left) called 'Making Murals'. The design and production of murals in and around West London are recorded here, all of which were directed by Isabella Wesoly. Their purpose is to inspire others in creative ways. But Isabella goes beyond her own practices on these web pages, sharing the word about others who've found ways to be creative with talent.

Whilst Isharmony developed as a retail outlet on eBay UK from 2003 to 2011 it evolved into a 'record keeper', where British based artists and their practices have been recorded in the section 'Best of British'. The term is a collective expression of the artists/crafters that Isabella Wesoly has either met personally, or read about. In one way or another she has regarded them as 'best', but her appreciation is in all of the Arts.

With a continuing downturn in British economy, 2012 saw many businesses 'fold' but there was much in the way of art that opened and/or remained open. The section entitled 'OPENED DOORS' is intended to keep you informed of what is open in the field of the arts within London. Some of the events are free but all are promoted here for their ability to keep art accessible to all.

There are also blogs by Isabella Wesoly under the 'IN MY EYE' tab (left), one with a running theme called 'The Art of.. ' focusing beyond art. An additional blog is also included, which is called 'Blog on Acton', as the town in which her first public art commission was made, Isabella focuses largely on art news and a little bit of nostalgia!

There are a few quotes passed onto us from the Ancient culture of the Mayans, Isabella's favourite is:

TIME = ART

Gratitude for the constructive, co-operative, helpful make the vital ingredients for anything worth sharing. Making Murals shares a history of art experiences to inspire others into creative activities.

Isabella hopes so!
