Garry Smith plays a resophonic guitar, mostly slide with Blues on the side. Relying mostly on self-penned songs and instrumentals, he also covers artists such as Tom Waits, Steve Earl and Richard Thompson. 

Blues and English / Irish Folk Music. 

Gary explores the possibilities open to the slide guitarist, by going beyond the repertoire expected.

Recent performances include Bracknell Guitar Festival

Gary has supported artists such as Steve Tilston, Sarah McQuaid and Peter Case.

 Performers:  3rd year music students from the University of West London playing excerpts from their  forthcoming production of Kander and Ebb’s Flora the Red Menace.

 Best known for writing the hugely successful musical Cabaret, Flora the Red Menace was John Kander and  Fred Ebb’s first Broadway musical.
