JANUARY 2013

'Sentience' by Mark Wydler

MARK WYDLER returns to West 3 Gallery on 10th January 2013 with 'Sentience'
An art exhibition, which includes his work on the theme of human relationships within environmental space.

The eye catching mandalas in Mark's collection suggests a level of balance within a confined space,
together with a sense of order  that's unaffected by third dimensional time.

Human nature may well exist beyond what we ordinarily perceive,
far from being rooted to Earth and within a Cosmic matrix of mathematical energy.

Who knows?

Mark's view on this would make an interesting discussion!

Perceptions noted here are by the 'pen' of Isabella Wesoly and do not necessarily reflect the artist's.

Beyond the physical impressions, Mark's intention is to dramatise the complexity
of human interaction within the surroundings of co-existence.

DECEMBER 2012

On Saturday 8th December 2012 Isabella Wesoly walked East to find West 3 celebrating
both the spirit of goodwill in the community and the experience of the aptly named

West 3 Gallery

On this page are a small selection of artworks,
chosen by Isabella to reflect both the diversity of style and talent
within the Acton community

Two abstract images show Mc Connell's creative use of imagination

A surreal quality in both the content and the brushwork,
permitting a step into the field of expression

The two works above and two either side (below) were chosen for their contrasts:

ABOVE
Mark Wydler's 'Great White' butterfly stands against a red background
Rachel Pepper's photograph 'Bandstand' explains why the band isn't playing

They may be perceived as summer & winter

LEFT & RIGHT

On the left, Maggie Daly's painting of a winter woodland is stark yet serene
and a contrast with the photograph to the right entitled 'Portobello',
where 'busy' and 'bustling' are expected / hoped for by traders

These may be perceived as
'still & quiet landscape' and 'hustle bustle trading'

sure contrasts in Isabella's perception!
